Your privacy matters

Workflow.ng collects personal and professional information so you can register, renew licences, apply for services, make payments and download official documents. We keep your data secure, only use it for specified purposes, and give you tools to manage your information.

The Workflow.ng is the data controller for this website and the services offered here. Our portal enables Nigerians to register, request for services which are processed with value delivered.

Controller contact: [email protected] (or the contact form on the site).

Personal & identity data: names, date of birth, national ID or passport, contact address, phone numbers and email.

Professional data: qualifications, registration number, place of work, employer details, CPD records and licence information.

Application documents: documents you upload (certificates, ID scans, evidence for name changes etc.).

Payment & billing: payment references, amount, transaction IDs and receipts from our payment gateway (Remita) — we never store raw card data.

Usage & technical data: login timestamps, IP address, browser/OS, device identifiers and activity logs to maintain and secure your account.

  • To provide services: to register accounts, process license renewals, and deliver requested documents.
  • To comply with law and regulation: Workflow.ng has statutory duties to hold professional records and enforce licensing rules.
  • For payments: to process fees via Remita and generate receipts; we do not store payment card numbers.
  • To secure the platform: detect and prevent fraud, protect accounts and maintain audit trails.
  • With your consent: for marketing or optional notifications (you can withdraw consent at any time).

We only share personal or professional data when necessary, including:

  • With our payment processor (Remita) to complete transactions;
  • With legal authorities or regulators when required by law;
  • With third-party service providers under contract for hosting, email, analytics, and security — they act on our instructions and are required to protect your data;
  • With your consent or where it is necessary to protect your or public safety.

Where data leaves Nigeria, we will ensure adequate safeguards or lawful transfer mechanisms are in place.

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to analyze usage and to remember your preferences:

  • Essential cookies — required for login, security and form submission.
  • Performance & analytics — help us improve the site (non-identifying); examples include Google Analytics (if enabled).
  • Functional cookies — remember language and display preferences.

You can control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies may affect some features.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active and thereafter for a period necessary to meet legal, regulatory or audit requirements — typically up to 7 years for official records, or shorter where applicable.

If you request deletion, we will remove or anonymize personal data where possible, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Secure HTTPS / TLS for all site connections;
  • Access controls and strong password requirements;
  • Regular security testing and monitoring;
  • Encrypted backups and restricted access to production systems.

While we strive to protect your personal data, no system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to result in risk to your rights or freedoms, we will notify affected users and regulators where required.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements);
  • Object to or restrict certain processing; and
  • Request transfer (where technically feasible).

To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected] or use the contact form. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may request identity verification to protect your privacy.

Our services are for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal data of children under the age of 18. If you believe we have collected data of a minor, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

We may update this policy from time to time. When changes are significant we will provide a clear notice on our site and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance.
